Baby: November 2007 Archives

Charlotte wiped out the other day on sheer ice on our way to a routine prenatal doctor's appointment. I looked back in my rear view mirror and suddenly she was off the road in this construction site. Not a good feeling. She got her heart rate up a little, but fortunately was otherwise OK. Three hours later the Mini was extricated from this mess and we went back to our daily routine.

We had our baby shower this weekend -- what a wonderful gathering of friends and family! We really had a great time and were so appreciative of everyone who came to celebrate the coming of our new baby. My mom and sister did a lot of planning to ensure that it was a success with a bunch of fun and games. And it was also wonderful to have Scott's mom fly out from Michigan to help out. We feel so much more prepared now with all the amazing gifts that people gave us. That and....

I finished the mural for the baby's room! The theme matches the bedding that we got for the crib. I'm really happy with the way it turned out and can't wait for our little baby girl to live among these smiling, happy animals :)
