I got back late last night from Las Vegas. That's right, my second Vegas trip of the year. A couple months back I attended a hockey practice with a different team -- the Geezers. Afterward they were passing around flyers about an upcoming tournament they'd signed up for in Las Vegas, and they were kind enough to ask me to join. After mulling it over for about a week, I decided to take the plunge. I'd always wanted to do a Vegas hockey tournament, but none of my teams had made the trip.
I ended up having a fantastic time, even though we left the tourney un-victorious. We did keep getting better and better each game, so that was nice to take away. I'm really glad I went, and thanks to the Geezers for having me along!
