Charlotte's Birthday

Today was my 29th birthday. It turned out to be a great day of celebrating with friends from work -- 22 people gathered to go out to lunch and then we had a happy hour after work. They were bitter sweet celebrations only because we were also saying "good-bye" to my good friend Marjorie who got another (better) job opportunity. Scott drove all the way down to join me at happy hour and from there took me to a delicious dinner at The Melting Pot. Early that day he'd given me my birthday presents -- two beautiful tops and earrings to match. I guess he's going to have to take me to a few more fancy dinners so I have an opportunity to wear them!
